free little library

The free little library is located at the beginning of the shore walk which is straight ahead.  That's the kid's play ground you see in the background.  Heading out or heading back from your walk stop and take a look.   If you have a book to drop off, please do!  With the tourists coming in to town, the selection changes daily.  We usually drop off a book every now and then plus once in a while we do find one to take too :)

  1. A lot of our rural telephone kiosks are being put to use as mini-libraries these days, now that they are no longer needed as everyone has a phone in their pocket. We also have a small book collection in our local railway station which is extremely useful.

  2. I love the idea about the library. I have seen a few from USA, but not so many here in Europe.

  4. There are some of these in the US but I think they're more popular in Europe. It's a great idea. (I just read Gunn's comment. Funny how we have different perceptions, sometimes!)

Hope you're having a great Sunday.

  8. Que maravilha uma biblioteca ao serviço da população que por ali passa.
Um abraço e bom fim de semana.

  9. That's such a good idea. We have them here and there. It fosters community and an affection for books over flickering images.
