has been issued for over 3,000 homes in Glenties and Ardara, as a result of Storm Darragh. We have to use boiled water to brush our teeth and drink, of course this is after it has cooled, but we can shower. Hopefully this won't last long.
Hope it won't last longs. We have lots of rural communities here in Nebrasak who have had to do that, but these days it can happen in the urban areas as well. All the best.
So sorry you have that inconvenience. I hope the storm didn't cause much damage, and that your quality water is returned soon. Our recent 2 month stint without potable water was not any fun at all here in western North Carolina.
Oh no! It's terrible when the water is not good. I hope the water returns to normal soon.
ReplyDelete...not a good situation.
ReplyDeleteMisery all around Bill.
ReplyDeleteOh no, it is not fun having to boil your water before using.
ReplyDeleteI hope it is back to normal soon.
Take care, have a great day and a happy week ahead.
I am admiring your kettle!
ReplyDeleteHope the situation gets better soon...
ReplyDeleteO really?
ReplyDeleteI hope so too, Bill.
ReplyDeleteSending good wishes your way for full water soon!

ReplyDeleteI hope the water issue passes quickly. That has to be very inconvenient.
ReplyDeleteIt does take time for water systems to clear out pollutants, so keep boiling water until you get an all clear. Hope all else is good.
ReplyDeleteOh no!! Well...I'm glad the damage wasn't worse! Boil Away!

ReplyDeleteThat storm sounds quite terrible, Bill. I hope you can get back to normal soon. Is your power still on?
ReplyDeleteToda precaución es poca, para no poner en peligro nuestra salud.
ReplyDeleteQue tengas una buena semana.
That's a very difficult inconvenience.
ReplyDeleteI don't remember ever getting a burn notice before, it sounds like it would be a very big pain.
ReplyDeleteVery concerning.
ReplyDeleteCrazy. Be well, Bill.
ReplyDeleteHopefully you won't have to do that for too long.
ReplyDeleteStay safe dear friend!
ReplyDeleteHope it gets back to normal again soon
ReplyDeleteMay the problem be soonish solved,
ReplyDeleteThat is such a bad omen to do that
ReplyDeleteThat's terrible, Bill! I hope you'll get the all-clear really soon.

All the best Jan
Cuídense mucho. Les mando un beso.
ReplyDeleteGood idea and good advice. We had to boil our water in the early days of travelling.
ReplyDeleteIt's not just boiling the water... To sterilize it you need to boil it for 15 minutes...
ReplyDeleteEverything for the best. A hug, dear friend.

Hopefully it won't last too long. I drink bottled water these days and use it for everything apart from showering!
