Quite a bit of roadwork over here too...they didn't plan well..one day they need to install gas pipe, they dig the road open....job done, close it. Couple of months later, they dig it open again because they need to update the water pipe...
We've had a lot of men doing just that thing around here following the floods after Hurricane Helene...and now water is flowing again. You just don't know how much you can miss that until it happens!
Querido Bill, necesario pero muy molesto el trabajo, ahora no veo que trabajen duro, están descansando. Abrazos y te dejo un besito, que tengas un feliz fin de semana
Four workers - no one is actually doing anything.
ReplyDeleteLOL I was going to say that!
DeleteRoad work seem to be a common scene around here lately.
ReplyDeleteTake care, enjoy your day and have a happy weekend.
Five, in fact. At least the driver is talking on the phone ;-)
ReplyDeleteYour next assignment, should you choose to accept it, is to photograph a road crew where everyone is busy!
ReplyDeleteGood shot. One is sitting on the fence, similar to here.

ReplyDeleteOh, progress at work. All the best to your November. I am glad they are wearing their gear and uniforms.

ReplyDelete...there's always something to repair.
ReplyDeleteWe have all been there. The street you need to use is closed for repair. Seems to happen all the time. Your photo documents this frustration well.
ReplyDeleteWe have been experiencing road work here also, with most of it being on the bridges.
ReplyDeleteHa the daily scourge of the city dweller.
ReplyDeleteWe have roadies just down the street from me today!
ReplyDeleteHope they get the job done, Bill. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteHard work and very important.
ReplyDeleteUn trabajo imprescindible y que no se puede dar de lado.
ReplyDeleteUn abrazo.
They seem to be doing that here all the time. So many of the pipes are really old.
ReplyDeleteThat's a big job. But better that than a busted water pipe.
ReplyDeleteLaying new pipes is essential but annoying for us drivers. There always seems to be roadworks or roads closed over here!
ReplyDeleteVery necessary but very annoying... 🤔
ReplyDeleteHave a good weekend and a very happy and cozy November. A hug, dear Bill... 🌈✨🎃🍂
There is always some work to do!!
ReplyDeleteEs horrible cuando pasa aunque es necesario. Te mando un beso.
ReplyDeleteImportant work there
ReplyDeleteIt's a major bother when a water main breaks in the middle of winter.
Rather extensive to do on a small road
ReplyDeleteNew pipes are important but the upheaval for motorists can be a drawback.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
