donegal castle

 Donegal Castle is one of Donegal's biggest tourist attractions.

  1. I guess the sheer number of castles throughout Europe indicates that humans have always engaged in warfare. Castle would provide little protection today.

  13. Impressive for its longevity and for the many windows... They should burn down a forest for heating... Chimneys are gone, would be very heavy... I liked to see and know. We have a storm warning... A hug 🌈

  19. Interesting! And I bet hard to get to? Seems like many are deliberately almost inaccessible, easier to repel the enemy that way.
