  1. I see this wind turbine is unique because it is located alone in the middle of a lake.

  8. Looks like a beautiful day in Ireland. You know, the three times I've been there, we've been so lucky with the weather, only a few rainy days.

  11. It seems to be all by itself. I'm used to seeing them in groups.

  12. I don’t think I’ve ever seen just one wind turbine. They always come in groups here.

  14. I can remember when there was only one wind turbine like that in England, at Swaffham in Norfolk at a green energy exhibition centre. "It'll never catch on", we thought.

  15. Interesting that there is just one standing there. Here in the U.S. there are always several clustered together.

  16. Pretty sky. I'm used to seeing wind turbines in groups, so it seems funny to see one all by itself!

  17. A pretty sky, Bill! We have one isolated turbine here downtown by Lake Ontario. It is on the grounds of the Canadian National Exhibition and has been there for years and started as a test. I haven't been down there in ages so for all I know it could be gone.

  21. Greetings and Salutations! My husband's grandmother lived in WEST Ireland. We went to visit and found relative's. We saw similar. The sea. The hills. The color green. Ahhh....there isn't a place as beautiful as Ireland. Nice photograph.

  24. Great photo. How many wind turbines are there near you?

Near Palm Springs, out in the desert plain, has a farm of them. Birds flying into them is a problem.
