I love seeing the rock wall. It reminds me of the rock the old Germans made back in the Hill Country when they first got to the area. Beautiful church.
Greetings and Salutations from Illinois! Agreed the craftsmanship of the rock wall is amazing. Golden light on the building. Here we have had gray skies for days so looking at the blue sky thrills me. Actually, today we have the sun out and blue skies too. We had 18 inches of snow in one day. Kept on snowing until there is no place to put the snow. YIKES! It is pretty though.
That does seem quite different from other church buildings I have seen here and in other areas. It looks very plain which made me wonder if this was the front of the back of the building.
Quite a contrast to the sky in your header photo. Spring must be on the way.
