You reminded me of an advertisement ... they drew lines but weird because they needed glasses! Fortunately, the workers here know how to draw straight lines! 😅
Great to see the line painting machines...I wonder what has to have the high heat on that truck. Perhaps the paint? Also interesting to see the guy pushing the small machine wearing knee pads. I thought things like the handicap symbols were done with a cut-out maquette.
Good shots there. Never seen a fire to keep the paint warm, to me rather amusing as it wouldn't be needed here - the fire that is - ...we met many road paintings in progress on our travels, especially on our way south.

Nice work shots. Always amazed how straight they work.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I have ever seen handicapped parking at the kerbside like that.
ReplyDeleteNice to see people working.
ReplyDeleteA very necessary task. The man in charge of parking restrictions around here is the aptly-named Mr Lines.
ReplyDeleteShould be an interesting activity to watch! Nice shots
ReplyDeleteLooks well equipped for the job, too.
ReplyDeleteArtists in their own way 🎨
ReplyDelete...they are finishing this up now before winter arrives.

ReplyDeleteHe is probably wondering why you are taking his pic! He looks a bit wary! ;-)

ReplyDeleteCheers
Looks like the area is being well maintained.
ReplyDeleteThey need to do this on my street sometime soon. They recently did some street work and messed up all the lines.
ReplyDeleteThey have the same work clothes here
ReplyDeleteThey are seen well in the dark and in traffic
It's kinda neat to see how things happen that you wouldn't normally think about!
ReplyDeleteNot so different from how it's done here.
ReplyDeleteI don’t envy this workers that job. Traffic around them makes it dangerous.
ReplyDeleteMy cousin used to do something similar and a car hit her. Dangerous work being out in traffic.
ReplyDeleteThose workers will always have a job I suppose. Interesting to watch.
ReplyDeleteThe roads will be so much clearer.
ReplyDeleteNice to have nice clear lines.
ReplyDeleteSlow moving though when your driving behind them working!!
Buenos espacios para las personas que tienen alguna minusvalía.
ReplyDeleteI like that little fire burning in the side of the truck. Is that to keep the paint warm, or the workers? :-)
ReplyDeleteI believe it is too kept the paint warm.
DeleteLines help keep the traffic disciplined.
ReplyDeleteGood shots there.

Hoi Bill.
ReplyDeleteClearly so.
Greeting from Patricia.
I like the look the line guy is giving you Bill 😊
ReplyDeleteHoi Bill. ook dit zijn 'n soort van kunstenaars, toch wel serieus werk al die rechte lijnen trekken.
ReplyDeleteGroet Kees.
Man at work. I've only seen this done by trucks here.
ReplyDeleteGood to see these 'Man at Work' photographs.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
