school started last Monday and the tractors are back. There were two more parked across the road. Must be a spendy ride to school. Petrol is not cheap, currently, €1.86 per liter.

ReplyDeleteCool picture. My son used to be obsessed about tractors when he was a toddler. We went to tractor shows, to tractor rides, tractors exhibitions, what have you. He still loves them. My wife once said: "I never thought my life would be so much about tractors." To this day, we notice every tractor we see.

Our high school has an annual "drive your tractor to school day" to support the agricultural department. Can't imagine how expensive it is to drive one on the regular.

ReplyDeleteDiesel is more expensive than normal petrol here, and people have to pay road tax on top of it so it's alot of money, have a nice weekend.

I do love the tractors. Yes, gas is high everywhere. Right now in my town it is $5.00 a gallon converted to liters and Euro I think this is right. $5.00 ÷ 3.7854 = $1.32 per liter. So my gas is a little less than yours but at $5.00 a gallon we are not going out in the cars much.
