    This made me laugh, Bill! I was... 16? And wanted black hair, which my Mum´d never allowed. So my friend and I went to get black hair color at the drug store to make at home in secret - and I turned out like an aubergine! Just like her! Not what I wanted! She went and got a "de-color" and I came out like a carrot.
    My Dad named me by second name "Flavia" from flaming as in both families the hair color red is on. Now guess... Thank you for that scary memory ;-)

    Whenever I dyed my hair I always felt like a slightly different woman...especially seeing people's reactions in their eyes. For me it wasn't always pleasant.
