luxury liner stopped by Killybegs this past Monday. There were 3,000 passengers and 1,500 crew members. The roof in the foreground belongs to a fish processing plant. The photo was taken from a tower facing the harbour which is only a few minutes walk away.

That is a big ship and the money the passengers spend, wow, good for the town.

That ship is massive. I would not want to be on it!
ReplyDeleteI remember where the fish processing plant was located. No, I would avoid these large cruise ships. Those tourists must have overrun Killybegs.
ReplyDeleteThat's a bigger harbor than I thought to accommodate such a big ship! And what on earth happened in the town with all those tourists? Restaurants would probably run out of food, and taverns out of beer!
ReplyDeleteA really big ship!
ReplyDeleteThat's a very big ship. Dropping that many people in town has to make the place busy for a while.
ReplyDeleteIt must have been a crazy day in town, Bill.
ReplyDeleteThat is a floating city, Bill! Great photo!
