gold flame spirea

This deciduous shrub is likely a Gold Flame Spirea (Spiraea japonica 'Goldflame').  It is characterized by vibrant pink flowers that bloom in clusters during mid-summer.The foliage changes color throughout the season, starting as bronze or copper in spring before turning yellow and eventually light green.
Info found by using google lens.

If interested I wrote a conversational piece  years ago when I was going to a Quaker Church.  It's about a talk I had with God during an unprogrammed service.
Unprogrammed Quaker worship is a silent, communal gathering without pre-planned sermons, pastors, or set agendas. Attendees sit in stillness to center themselves, remaining open to inward divine guidance. Anyone may briefly speak, pray, or share a message ("vocal ministry") if inwardly compelled by the Spirit.

  20. Reminds me of "be still and know that I am God". So important to be quiet sometimes.
