a walk on the beach
warren beach located in Inver, co. Donegal. Went there for a walk the other day with our friend and Finn the dog. It was very windy and cold. Not many people to see on the beach so it was nice and quiet except for the sound of the wind.
Lovely, barren looking beach...so different from summer. Glad you enjoyed it even if it was cold. We have 3" of fresh snow this morning joining the 3" we got yesterday adding to an already impressive winter base. I would be glad to see a beach with no snow here. lol. Diana
Glad to see your fellow beach-walkers were bundled up, as I hope you were as well! They add to your photo composition and I’d guess you paid them well to pose for you!
A walk on Warren Beach sounds so refreshing! Did Finn have fun chasing the wind and waves, or was he more of a thoughtful stroller like the rest of you? I love quiet beaches, they make the cold and wind feel almost magical. I hope your weekend is filled with peaceful walks and small adventures. I've recently published a new travel post, which I invite you to explore: www.melodyjacob.com
At least the beach - soon here, too! As blogger wants a two-step-verification and my German phone is not available I reckon I cannot blog... and run as Anonymous.... Iris Flavia, now in Madeley/Perth
There's just something about taking a walk on a beach, no matter what the weather. I need to make an effort to visit our nearest beach as I don't think I made it last year.
A nice wee bit Bill. I like walking along the beach and collectiong shells and rocks :-D
ReplyDeleteAt least it's not raining
ReplyDeleteHow nice, Bill.

Imagen real de una plana en invierno, desértica y desagradable por el viento pero natural y bonita.

ReplyDeleteI'd even happily walk on a beach if it was cold. I'm really missing open water and this is a terrific spot to find it.
ReplyDeleteThat must have been a very refreshing walk.

ReplyDeleteA foto ficou muito bonita Bill. Aqui no Rio de Janeiro, faz muito tempo que não vou na praia. Grande abraço do Brasil.
ReplyDeleteI live a mile from the beach and NEVER go there. To darn cold even in summer here.
