arrived in the harbour on Saturday morning.  LÉ William Butler Yeats (P63) of the Irish Naval Service was here in town for the  blessing on the ships.

ice plants

are uneconomic and demand for ice has gone down hugely in recent years. We have an ice plant here in Killybegs but the smallest amount of ice going out of any plant in Ireland is going out of here because all the vessels have installed their own ice making facilities on board.

Sandra's Run

In memory of Sandra Boyle of Killybegs who died just one day before her 18th birthday on May 21st 1991 after battling leukemia.  Today her parents Jim & Rosaleen lead over 300 motocyclists on the 14th annual Sandra's Run in her memory. During that time, thousands of euro have being raised for both Crumlin and Temple St. Hospitals.
