greencastle mural

This Mural in Greencastle is an image of a Greencastle yawl or drontheim, a traditional fishing boat for many centuries on the north coasts of Ireland and the northern seaboard of Britain. It was commissioned by Greencastle Community Development, and was completed in August 1999.

  5. I don't like most murals, but this one is very well done and I like its historical authenticity. Nice shot, too.

  6. Wow! Love the scale and the subject of this one. It's nice when a mural somehow "fits" its surroundings.
