Looks solid. But I have to say that yesterdays posting have something similar with hundreds of stones on top of each other, and that is also lots of work put in to it. Happy new day! :-)
I've never seen hand-handles like that!

Lost it's grip!
ReplyDeleteAn absurd gate hanger which I have never seen the like of before.
ReplyDeleteI suppose they held on as long as they could! Very unique brackets for the gate & quite comical!
ReplyDeleteThey've probably been holding on for a hundred years Bill, it was time! 😀

ReplyDeleteOoops ! :)
ReplyDeleteI like the "hands" idea but it appears that the whole thing has deteriorated. I've never seen hands holding a fence or gate before.
ReplyDeleteReminds me of a game of rock, paper scissors.
ReplyDeleteThat's very different!
ReplyDeleteOh dear! They certainly couldn't hold on hard enough!
ReplyDeleteLove the hands. Hope they can repair the gate
ReplyDeleteToo bad! I hope it gets restored!
ReplyDeleteThe hands are so nice. Not funny the gate is broken now.
ReplyDeleteI can't quite see how the hands interacted with the wooden fence. They're certainly an interesting feature.
ReplyDeleteIt always make me sad watching on things like this....
ReplyDeleteThis is such a sad story.
ReplyDeleteWhat an unusual way to hold and stabilise a gate; guess it didn't work!
